RADIUM HAZE

   Rooted in long time friendships, hardships, and the feeling of hopelessness in a crumbling society, this trio channels it all into their passion for heavy music. “Radium Haze” was formed by drummer Larry Hundertmark (The Phantom Eye / Neck) & Ted Hampton (guitar/ vox) during the pandemic. The guys began writing music and collecting an arsenal of recorded jam sessions and loosely structured songs which garnered a mix of sludge, doom, hard rock, metal, grunge and kilos of stoner rock. 

   Sammy Astolfi joined the jam sessions filling the low end with her gritty bass tone, the songs started taking on their own shape, structure, and identity. Ted stepped up as a front man while shredding catchy riffs he began experimenting with singing that quickly shaped into powerful melodic vocals, along with lyrical content that will have these songs repeating in your head , while Larry holds down the groove, locking them all in. There’s as much room for head-banging as there is for zoning out to these songs, a creative mix of heavy genres that have a sweet spot for everyone.
